The Passive House energy standard increases energy efficiency in buildings by a factor of up to 10 to give you very low electricity and gas bills. It is generally recognised as the most rigorous standard for developing low energy homes.
EnerPHit Retrofit Plans for an existing home are based on a Passive House analysis and an understanding of the homeowners' future plans for renovations. The plan isn't intended to be fully implemented immediately, but gives guidance on what to spend when, to get immediate benefits, but to minimise the cost as work is performed when it makes sense.
