Low Energy Home helps people reduce greenhouse gases, improve comfort and reduce energy costs for their homes by providing Residential Efficiency Scorecard and other energy ratings for existing and new homes Our primary goal is to help people make the most cost-effective decisions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Our objective is to work with the client to achieve their goals at the level of expenditure which is comfortable for them. This can be achieved while increasing comfort and amenity.
We realise that not everyone can afford to achieve a Passive House standard, but most people want to live in comfort and achieve a low energy home so they can afford to pay their electricity bills.
With the increase in energy efficiency requirements for new homes and major renovations to 7-Star, it is possible to get a relatively efficient home without going above the regulations. The problem however is to ensure that the design actually achieves 7-Stars cost effectively. We can work with your Architect and/or Builder to ensure you achieve this.
